Getting Ready for CBT!

Alumni at NYC Pre-CBT

The Office of Multicultural Advancement kicked off its roadshow of Pre-CBT receptions on Feb. 29, at Bar 13 in New York City. Hosted by CBT 2024 Co-Chairs Tara Favors ’95, chief human resources officer at Mutual of America, Sammy Cueva ’93, New York City restauranteur and entrepreneur, and Rachel Vassel ’91, G’21, associate vice president of the Office of Multicultural Advancement, the event provided a taste of the fun and fellowship to come on campus in September. More than 175 guests attended and were the first to hear about some of the exciting guests, entertainment and programming planned.

“If the turnout at our first Pre-CBT reception is any indication of the love, encouragement and support we will have in September, the 2024 CBT weekend will be like no other,” says Favors. “I encourage alumni, especially those who have never been, to strongly consider registering. It will be good for your soul!”
