Joey Vega

Joe Vega has been doing stand-up comedy for over forty years. He headlines across the country in comedy clubs, and private and corporate events.

Joe has been touring worldwide opening for Latin sensation Marc Anthony for the past 23 years, performing in venues such as Madison Square Garden in front of thousands of people. He has also acted on television doing appearances on Law and Order (4 times) as well as The Sopranos. 

Joe has been in films with the likes of Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, and Edward Norton, and was one of the stars of the 20th Century Fox film The Latin Legends of Comedy.

Joe was the first Latino to host a Latino based Nationwide syndicated TV show called the Latin Connection. Joe has been a staff writer for George Lopez’s late night talk show, and has also been a contributing writer for numerous Chris Rock and Adam Sandler films. 

Joe is proud of his Puerto Rican heritage, and has set an example and influenced the new generation of Latino comedians that have followed him.
