Several groups will be holding their own events in conjunction with CBT. Here are a few of them:
AKA Pre-50th Anniversary Celebration
Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will hold a celebration in advance of the 50-year anniversary of the Iota Upsilon Chapter at Syracuse University on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 3-5 p.m. Registration and location information coming soon.
Class of 1974 Reunion
A cocktail reception will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, in recognition of the 50th reunion of the class of 1974. The reception is from 6-8 at the Community Folk Art Gallery.
This event is sponsored by five friends from the class of 1974: The Honorable June Blackwell-Hatcher, Esq., Susan Carter-Chavers, Joe Cruz, William Hill and Juanita Lucas-Braxton. All alumni of the class of ’74 and friends from that era are invited. Donations at the door are greatly appreciated.
Nursing Alumni Reunion
A Nursing Alumni Reunion will be held Thursday, Sept. 12. from 5-7pm at 335 White Hall in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. Whether you were part of the first graduating class or the last, this reunion is an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, faculty and friends who share the same passion for nursing.
